CHOSEN For The Job

So it was 1980. I was at home with my two young boys and I was trying to teach myself to play the guitar. I thought maybe, because I could sing so well, perhaps playing the guitar would be something I could do to bring finances into my life!
That wasn't happening!

My fingers were so sore, there was no way I could play that thing! I put the guitar down and asked GOD to help me find something I could do to begin a career to help myself financially. I knew I needed to work, but doing "what" I thought?
It was then I clearly heard the voice of the LORD audibly say to me,
"Pick up the phone, call every Dentist in the phone book until you are hired"!
I didn't even give this a second thought! You see, GOD has always spoken audibly to me throughout my entire life, so, I picked up the phone book and started calling local Dental offices.
I identified myself and said I was wondering if they had any openings in their front offices? I called about 11 numbers in the book and was turned down so far by every one. The 12th number was a Dr. Christian, who was located a few miles from my home. A woman had answered the phone, identified herself as Sheila. She was extremely pleasant and was more than willing to listen to me as I made my verbal introductions.
I repeated to her what I had said to all 11 other woman who had answered the phone. She asked me after I made my inquisition, "how did you get this number, how did you hear about us"? I went quiet for a moment, pondered my reply, and then said, I had prayed and asked GOD for direction for a new job, and he told me to call every Dentist in the phone book until I was hired! She said to me in a stunned voice, "Are you kidding me"?
I replied very directly, "No, Mam, not at all".
She was quite on the phone for a minute, and then she said, "well, I am 7 months pregnant and I was just today thinking that we would need someone here at the office to take over while I'm away for maternity leave for about three months". She also asked me, "Did I have any experience working in a Dental office"?  I replied, "no, but I have worked front desks before, and for Honeywell in the past and I am a very quick learner"! With that, Sheila said to me, "I simply have to meet you! "Are you available to come here today, NOW"?
I replied very excitedly, yes, I am!

So I quickly cleaned myself up, put the children in the car, and headed off to the Dental office to meet Sheila. The children stayed in the car with sandwiches and coloring books, yes, the windows were down, and a stern speaking to, too stay in the car and speak to no one! I could see them from the front office window. With that I went in the office. Sheila and I spoke for about a half hour and she hired me right there on the spot! I started my training a week later.

This began my career in Dentistry. It was a long very satisfying career. From 1980 to 2009, With a myriad of spiritual experiences in between!
If we all could just tune in to the voice of GOD that we all hear. Think of how simple life could be.
We have to know how to hear HIS voice when HE speaks to us.
Then follow and obey.
All it takes is the art of listening.
Training our ear to hear HIS voice!
I'll say it again, TRUTH is stranger than any written fiction!

Awakend By Fate

So, it was 1959. I lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My Mom had packed us 4 kids into the car for a quick trip to Florida. We all thought that was wonderful! We were traveling at night and in the hot summer months of the year. Our car did not have air conditioning back in those days. It was uncomfortable, but the windows were open and we were heading to Florida!
My parents were getting a divorce and my Mom decided to visit her parents in Miami so she could work a few things out for the future.
I didn't really understand what the divorce thing was all about. I was just too young.
We had travelled all evening and it was time for Mom to take a rest from all the driving. It was still dark as I heard the tires pull onto a crunchy, rocky road. I remember being the only one awake, I looked around the car seats, I didn't want to get up yet, so I kept my eyes closed, the engine of the car was still running.  I was still very tired and it had cooled down a lot through the night I thought. So I stayed snuggled together with my sleeping siblings. We were in an older car, with a big back seat. All my siblings were sound asleep. Unaware of what was transpiring.
After being parked for a while, I heard my Mom start crying. It was soft but desperate. I was so small I could not see over the big front seat to where she was in the drivers seat. She sat looking straight ahead. I could see her profile from where I was in the back.
I tried to get up but thought maybe I should stay quite. It wasn't often I heard my Mom crying. It was a bit weird for me. I sat up a bit and peeked out the window but did not speak a word. The window was open and I could see a huge empty unpaved area that we were parked on. It was all white, like sand or shells or something I thought. I had no idea where we were. It wasn't a home or a restaurant.
I looked over at my mother, still not speaking and looking straight ahead. She hadn't noticed through her crying that I was awake and looking about. Her hands were firmly on the wheel as she cried softly. As the night darkness was leaving somewhat and the morning was now arriving I could almost see clearer out the window, but it was still dark.
It appeared we were on a huge piece of property that was over looking a cliff.  A huge deep cliff!
The car still running, I heard my Mom start to roll the car slowly closer towards the edge of the cliff. Then all of a sudden she stopped, as if she was reconsidering something! She did this a few times. I sat wondering what was happening here?
She started again....
My eyes widened as she did this as I thought to myself, we are rolling pretty fast here, doesn't she see the cliff there in front of her? She still did not acknowledge me being awake.
I was now fully sitting up in the back seat.
Her hands were firmly gripping the steering wheel as she continued to cry her muffled crying. She stopped the car again! She seemed to be arguing with herself. Shaking her head. Again we started rolling closer to the edge of the cliff. We were pretty close at this point, I could see the depth of the cliff now from the other side of the deep hole, it was getting a bit brighter outside. It seemed as if this was taking a very long time.
I was now wide awake, and fearful!
All of a sudden I spoke, and to this day I can't completely explain what I said to her. I said in a very wimpy pleading voice  "Mommy, stop the car, don't do this, PLEASE Mommy, don't do this to us"!
I absolutely shocked her! She did not know I was awake and watching her. She slammed on the brakes and turned towards me. She said to me, "do what"? "What am I doing"?
Then she broke into heavy crying. Now the light was getting brighter outside. It seemed to me we were on some work sight she had pulled into to rest up. My older sister woke up a bit moving around in her seat in the front, completely unaware of what was going on.
My Mom turned the car wheel away from the cliff immediately and drove quickly away from the edge. She spoke not a word.
As I look back now I'm sure it was because if my older sister would have seen where we were at that cliffs edge she would have been screaming at the top of her lungs in fear!
That morning once back on the road  again with my sister back to sleep, my Mom said to me,
"we won't ever talk about this to anyone".

I said, "O.K. Mom".

I stayed awake the rest of the trip to Hialeah, Florida to her parents home and so did my Mom. I remember being afraid to fall asleep actually since she was so upset. What I thought was odd though, was that the next morning she pulled into a Graveyard under the shade trees for us all to get out of the car, stretch our legs and have a bite to eat from the picnic basket she had in the trunk, and I'm sure to also rest her weary eyes.

I will never forget this experience. My siblings all thought this was weird how we stopped at the graveyard. We still talk about it from time to time when we all gather.
We laugh about that crazy time Mom stopped at a graveyard to rest and have lunch.
I now think she pulled into that grave yard because she was very grateful we all were alive and she had been thwarted in her plan to end all of our lives because of the pain she was suffering going through that divorce.

I have never spoken of this to anyone since it happened in 1959. I don't know why. For many years I forgot about it. I tried to bring it up to my Mother one time in the 80's while we were both alone chatting in her home in North Carolina. She said she had no idea what I was talking about? So I left it at that. I guess she was never going to admit that this had happened. I'm sure the pain was way to deep in her soul. I can't imagine how she must have felt! After all, she was at least 6 months pregnant at the time with my little sister.
I often would think of this day and be so grateful I was awakened that night!
Sometimes even as children we are led to intervene in the course of the future for our lives and others. I am grateful our lives did not end that way, that night! We were all protected by the only one who has our last breath in HIS hands! At HIS timing.
Not anyone else's.
Thank GOD!

The Fervent Prayers of Many

So, Yesterday I was in serious pain, after I sprained my ankle doing yard word. I had fallen over a tree stump in the yard and scraped my leg and ankle on the darn thing as I fell backwards onto my back and shoulder. Hard! My ankle instantly swelled to a huge nob! My neck was hurting and my thigh where I landed squarely on the tree stump. OUCH! I crawled along the grass into the house on my hands and knees and my son Jason helped me into a wheelchair he resurrected from the garage for me. My foot had swollen so large it literally felt as if it were going to explode. The bleeding areas were so swollen I actually wondered if the darn ankle was going to pop open? The pain was just so severe I could hardly believe a small sprain could present this much discomfort. I wondered if it might be more than a sprain? .
I immediately had Jason prepare the couch for me with pillows and blankets. We immediately elevated the leg. I was so grateful this hadn't happened to me while I was home alone! I can't imagine having to crawl from couch to freezer on my knees hurting this bad! Yikes, my prayers immediately went out to those who suffer something like this all alone! I felt so blessed to have Jason there with me. I was crying from the pain but not being alone was such a blessing!
I was crying as I tried to transfer from the wheelchair to the couch. Screaming actually.
Jason made an ice pack for me as I yelled where to find the zip lock bags and towel.
Putting the ice pack on this ankle was like torture to it.
I laid there trying to assess my situation.
I decided I was going to live! LOL. But it was going to be uncomfortable for a few days.

I had Jason prepare dinner with me yelling instructions from the couch. It was really hysterical actually. I found something funny about everything he did. Men in the kitchen! It's a trip.

Three hours passed with me on the couch and I needed to get up to head to the restroom. Jason got the old crutches from the garage and off I went screaming the entire way.
I thought to myself maybe I should head off to the Emergency Room?

I didn't want to go to the ER for an x-ray as I knew it would be painful somehow. Never the less
I had Kevin who was now home from work call my Humana plan to prepare me to go to the emergency room. It took me till about 9:00pm to submit to going for x-rays now as the pain was so severe I couldn't take it another second.  I thought I may have really fractured something.
Kevin made all the calls for me and I got my clearance from Humana and was preparing to go. But, then I became so sleepy,  It just came on me. It was like all the Advil I had taken just kicked in  all at once and I could not keep my eyes open.  I couldn't fathom getting up and heading to the ER.

Just then I tried to move off the couch just a tad, and a horrific charley horse hit this already distraught foot of mine. I must have awoken the neighbors I screamed so loud.
Both Kevin and Jason almost started crying they were so afraid for me in my pain. I know I was scaring them but I was in pain. They wanted to help me but clearly couldn't. The charley horse travelled up my leg as I was screaming so loud it sounded like I was being murdered. I really did try to stop screaming, but the pain in this swollen foot was just off the charts.
The swelling was now throbbing along with the charley horse!
Kevin grabbed my whole leg and the warmth of his hands started to ease the pain of my leg from the charley horse and ankle. He pushed the toes on my left foot back slowly, the heat from his hand and the light pressure on my toes caused  the charley horse to ease up a bit.  I could breath again! I finally stopped screaming. I was so worn out after this experience I  asked to be wheeled into bed to lay down for a few moments.
Off to bed I went, so we elevated my leg once again with pillows. It really felt good to lay down.  The throbbing finally stopped all together. I decided I could not go to the ER now,  I was worn out from all the screaming. I'd have to wait till the morning, I really needed to sleep right now!

As I was falling asleep my son Jason yelled into me from his room, "Mom, I'm praying for you", and I smiled and yelled back to him, "Thank you!" I need it! Then I fell asleep.
I woke up at 3:33am and I got up to go to the restroom. I was looking for the wheelchair and the crutches when I realized, my foot did not hurt at all!! It was completly fine! I walked in disbelief to the restroom by myself , no crutches, no wheel chair! I was  being careful not to wake anyone in the house. I was really amazed that I had no pain at all. I could feel that my ankle was still swollen but I could put all my weight on it! The foot was actually still very swollen, but I had NO PAIN!

I had posted this incident on Face book after it happened and so many people were praying for me. They had shared loving, kind thoughts and advise for me. I really appreciated it all. As I walked into the restroom  last night I realized the prayers of all the people had been heard! I was healed.
Jason's prayer had worked a miracle on me!
His words were the last words I heard as I fell off to sleep.
Miracles are still happening! We just have to believe. It took this silly accident to remind me of so many blessings I endure everyday. When we ask for prayer, we should expect a miracle.
I got mine last night!
I thank all those here for their part in their prayers for me.
I am blessed to have praying friends!

You Are Loved

Back in 1973 I was just another pretty face in the hippie movement. I was a believer in all things peaceful and groovey. Loved the music and the spirit of the day. Especially my flower braided hair and my comfy jeans with the engraved sayings of Jimi Hendrix I stitched on them. It was a time in my life I smiled a lot.

I was searching for something, but I was to young to know what it was. Music guided me at that time like I believe it did so many others. My fear was that music was like a pied piper leading us all into some strange trap. I wanted to understand life and live life well. I watched some friends succumb to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, strange religions and odd life styles. I watched but never followed. The pressure was there but I saw emptiness at the end of the day. I just didn't want anything controlling my every waking hour or my finances.

I found myself alone a lot. I was different. I felt like I was an observer, not part of the crowd. It was desperately lonely, but it was also very peaceful. I was O.K. with it.

One afternoon I decided to visit a friend and while there I had an experience with the LORD. It lasted 2 hours at my friends home.  It just happened. No one was talking religion or witnessing to me. It was like the time had come to fruition and it was upon me. Predestined for that very moment in time.

My friend saw what I was experiencing, along with another friend that came to visit as well. I didn't really know who JESUS was but HE wanted me to know who HE was. I wasn't looking for HIM.  HE drew me to HIM.  I later found out HE was with me all along. Showing me the choices in this life that were available for the choosing, if you wanted them.

I began a relationship with JESUS that day that turned my life around. I hold fast to HIM still today from that one meeting with HIM.
No one witnessed to me, read scripture to me or shared their salvation message. I didn't go to a church service or have some one hand me a tract. JESUS introduced himself to me
and I have never been the same.

YOU can know HIM as I do. Just as I did. You don't need any invitation to go anywhere or do anything special. HE already knows you and is crazy in love with you.  It's all so simple really. You only have to ask HIM to come into your life. HE will. Then your new relationship with HIM begins. You won't be perfect, your face won't change or many other outwards things. However, your entire spiritual life will be born again. You will have an inheritance instantly that is beyond your widest imagining's. You will live forever securely in HIS presence and peace.
Life will look different, yet be much the same. What do you have to loose?

YOU are already Loved!

Losing A Loved One Amongst The Paranormal

So, You're probably wondering what this photo is all about.
Well, on the last night of my Mothers life I was at the Hospice house in Oconomowoc Wisconsin.
I had just had a very unusual experience  at my Moms bedside who was dying from lung cancer.

The cancer had taken her voice from her about two weeks earlier and she had a very hard time communicating. She would try to speak but it was a very odd sound, which somehow I always understood. Mom had been in a coma like state on and off for a couple of days and was getting worse. We knew her time was very limited.

I sat next to her by the bed as she labored with a very harsh "death rattle", and tried to comfort her as she struggled. I would sing to her softly and she would struggle a bit less. I prayed with her and reminded her of all the wonderful moments that she and I had shared. As my older sister walked into the room she was simply horrified by the sound of the eminent doom with her heavy breathing, it really was hard to listen to.
Chris sat across the room on a small sofa just crying as I continued to sing to Mom.

All of a sudden, my Mom opened her eyes, sat up a bit and looked me right in the eyes and said,
"Kiss me goodbye". This was spoken in her actual voice, and she said it with strong conviction as if she knew this was it!  I was stunned. I looked over at my sister sitting on the couch and all of a sudden I reverted to a young child as I said, Chrissy, Chrissy, come kiss Mommy goodbye!
It was simply the most innocent thing, and yet it dumb founded my sister as she looked at me in amazement. Chris began crying loudly, she got up to come to my Mothers side to join me as Mom tried to make a puckered up pout to kiss us. We both kissed her goodbye, Chris was crying profusely. I wasn't able to cry just yet, I felt strong somehow. I believe I was still a bit shocked that I had just heard Mom's voice again, I missed her voice so much, I heard it as if there was no cancer at all.
How could that be possible? I hadn't heard her voice that clear in almost 6 months. My Mom then closed her eyes and laid back down and slipped back into the coma like state she had been in for a day or two before and her breathing began to struggle again.

As I left the Hospice house that night I stood in the parking lot and beheld the most beautiful radiant moon in the cool night air. I said out loud, Mommy, I'm taking a picture of the moon tonight, because this is the last moon of your life. I knew she would not live to see another one. The night was so dark, no lights anywhere to be seen. Just the beautiful Full Moon.
As I took the picture there was an odd peacefulness and quiet all around me. I could hardly move.
My Mother passed away the next day.
Many more strange and very paranormal things accompanied that day. But today this is all I will share.

When I got home from Wisconsin I took my photos to the drug store to be processed.
This was the picture that I had taken of the moon that night.  The Orange Orb was NOT there when I took the picture.
I believe it was a sign from my Mom.
Death is not the end, it is the beginning of the next life.

Extra Terrestrial Encounters

So, I didn't believe in Extraterrestrials. Didn't want to know anything about them either, and I'm on my way home from work late one night and there they are. They made me an instant believer. They showed up for me! I had never desired to know about them. However, you cannot deny what is right before your very eyes!
They wanted me to know about them obviously. There was a "Need to know" for me. My encounter was really very peaceful. Unlike others I have more recently heard of. A bit unsettling at first though. I was seeing a craft hovering over the rail road crossing near my neighborhood. This was no small thing!  I was in prayer the whole time it was happening and asking the LORD for HIS help. It is truly an awe inspiring moment as well as a complete life changer. So much of a life changer I doubted my own sanity for a moment.
I buried  it in my memory pretty much after it happened because I didn't want to think about it or talk to anyone about it because I didn't want people to think I was crazy. I had just seen an extraterrestrial craft and being for the first time. I saw a a tall white, thin and ugly being, very different from humans. The ones on the craft were smaller and grey. I didn't believe in what I just saw. The experience opened my mind to the awareness of off world beings for the very first time! Right there, in that moment.
I just had such a hard time believing what happened to me and handling what I saw. It went against everything I believed in!

I was 27 at the time. Alone and standing in the middle of the road, and digesting the facts right before my eyes. I now knew beyond any shadow of a doubt that we were "not alone" in the universe, not alone at all.  I had never even questioned that subject before this experience. It seemed like the alien factor was the stuff of comic book entertainment to me, until this night.
So before I had the chance to ask that question, the answer came to me in the form of the experience. It changed my life instantly right then and right there.
I experienced missing time, but didn't know it was missing time, because I didn't know there was such a thing as missing time. I saw two different types of extraterrestrials, but didn't realize that there were other types as well. I had nothing to base my experience on. I learned everything after the fact and 29 years later at that.
I am now well versed on the fact that we are not alone. We live in a world where the Paranormal and extraterrestrial as well as spiritual realms exist and interact.  I was taught they were all fantasies. That they weren't real. I am here now telling you beyond any doubt, they are all real, and here in our dimension. There is so much more than what meets the eyes in this life. Keep looking up and stay open.
GOD has much to teach you yet.
