In Tune

So, I am simply amazed as I write this post tonight. I can hardly believe what has happened myself. As I contemplate all the vibrations on this planet, I must say I am blessed and utterly blown away at how intricately everything is connected.
If we look for it!
I have a little bracelet I wear every day, all the time and even to bed. I looked at it as I was in my office working, thinking to myself, I just love this little bracelet. I've worn it for years. I was amazed at how it glistened and blessed me. Such a sweet little trinket. Not expensive, but so loved.

So, I was sitting in my office that same day, about a week ago, when all of a sudden I thought very clearly of my youngest son.
Well, you may think, what's so strange about that?
Well, my youngest son and I have had many issues over the years and we don't talk much. I am a firm disciplinarian and he is a firm rebellious child, youngster, teenager, man.
No one could love him more than I, however we agree to disagree about many things. So we don't talk much.
So here I am, feverishly working away at my desk a week ago and out of the seemingly blue, his name comes to mind.
I whisper up a prayer for him as I'm sure, he's probably going to be calling me soon, and may need my help. It feels odd though.
Really odd.
Sure enough, to the day a week later, I get a text and a picture sent to me. He is very ill. So ill, that he has already been to the hospital, been on medication and is now wondering what his next step will be. I plan to see him the next day and spend time going over what has taken place, and what he should perhaps do next.
I had planned in the evening of this day, the day that all the news came to me about my son, to go to a friends birthday dinner party. So my husband and I went to dinner with the Birthday group and had a wonderful time, even though I was very prayerful throughout the evening for my son.
I was seated next to a woman who grabbed my arm at the party and said to me, "what a lovely bracelet, it's so sweet and glistens so"! I thanked her and agreed with her and told her it was my absolute favorite bracelet.
It was at that very minute the thought came to me that I would not have this bracelet much longer. I laughed to myself and thought, how ridiculous is that? Why would that silly thought come to me now? I ran my hand over the beads and smiled. I've had this little treasure for such a long time! I just love it!
Then I put the thought away from me, and laughed at myself for thinking it.

We stayed at the party much later than we should have, and headed home, dead tired!
As I lay in bed that night, before I went to see my son, I heard the LORD remind me of many things through the years that I have shared with my son. Things he did not want to hear. Hard things for me to share with him. Things I knew he needed to hear. I was concerned for him deeply and prayed in the SPIRIT that the LORD would grant him favor and healing. It was no small prayer!
The LORD prepared me that night for what I was to do, what I was to say and what to bring along with me as I visited, as I would have some alone time with him.
I woke that morning and did as I was instructed by the LORD.
I gathered the things together to take to him and I jump in the car to head out.

I head out to see him, a sixty mile drive one way to his home, praying all the way there, asking for wisdom and guidance.
Praying I am in tune with what the LORD wants me to do!
I find once I get there that I am immediately in tune with his needs and in fact have already met them!
GOD is so good!
It was as if what the LORD showed me the night before was clearly what was needed. I had a wonderful visit and talk with my son and felt we would be seeing a lot more of each other now.
It was so good to see him. I was receiving a lot of incoming information from the LORD as I sat and spoke with my son and watched him as we laughed and had a good visit.
It just blessed me.
I made the long trip home from my son's house and contemplated all that had taken place.
After more prayer and pondering I was very tired and ready for bed! I was grateful for such a wonderful day.
That night, as I got ready to go to bed, I threw the covers back to jump in the sac and I see all these glistening beads all over the sheets. I thought to myself, what the heck is this? I quickly look at my arm and I see that as I slept the night before wrestling with what I was going to do and say, talking with the LORD, my bracelet of all these years, broke! I hadn't even been aware of it all day! It had broken through the night and all the little beads were everywhere on the sheets!
I remembered how this silly little bracelet was a part of this whole process with my son. How it all started from me admiring it. Then the thought of my son came to me, then the text, then the prayers, then the healing, then the woman at the party and now, just as I thought, I don't have my little bracelet any longer!
How strange is this life?
It never ceases to amaze me.
The lesson here, the take away. Is all about my son.
Forgiving and letting go so that life can take it's own path.
The glistening gems of life and how GOD is in all the details.
He gives and takes away. ONLY HE can.
I am blown away. There are lessons everywhere, if we will just pay attention to the small things.

The Unfamiliar Voice

So, the other day I was sitting at my desk in the front room of our home. I was busy working on paperwork which I needed to complete. I was just finishing up. I was fully engrossed with putting letters into envelopes to stamp, address and walk to the mail box.

I had noticed what a wonderful breezy morning it was as I glanced out the large front window. It almost made me stop to admire the beautiful palms and Bird of Paradise out the front window swaying in the breeze.
It was then out of nowhere I heard it.

A mans voice almost directly behind me, said very clearly, "hello".

I stopped immediately and turned around fully expecting someone to be there! But who? I don't know that voice I thought in an instant, I've never heard that voice before. It sounded as if it were someone in their 50's perhaps, not young but, not old!

As I turned to look, "no one was there"!
Because the voice sounded so strange to me, I did not reply to answer it. Being a demonologist, I am very careful to whom or what I interact with.  I choose to not respond.
I stood up now and walked into the living room, I could feel a presence but I saw nothing.
I waited a moment as I stood there, feeling the energy in the room. Finally I said out loud, In the name of JESUS leave this home NOW!
I immediately felt the energy leave.
I welcomed the Holy Spirit into the home and asked that HE search out the entire home and cleanse it immediately. I knew what I had heard was not kosher at all. It wasn't anyone here in the land of the living. It had to go immediately!

Why do I share this? What do you need to know of this?
Simply this.
Never speak to an entity that comes upon you suddenly.
There are spiritual energies out there that want your attention. But what you focus on is your business, not theirs!
Always be in charge and in full control when something strange happens to you. Don't let fear over take you. Keep your head about you. Look for obvious answers. Debunk it if you can and if you cannot, MOVE ON! Go to the only one who can help, and is always available instantly ONLY JESUS has the power and authority you need to take hold of the situation. HE is in the spiritual realm, HE has full authority and can deliver you instantly from any form of attack. We simply only need to call on Him! ANY FORM of attack at all! The wonderful news is also, he will give you His peace to walk through the moment. You are truly never alone!
After I called on the Holy Spirit, I simply went back to work.
I didn't give this stranger a moment of my time.
This is our time to live, this is our reality, not theirs!
There are surely spirits about just as there are Angels and other forms of energy, be in control! Take the authority and control of your own life.
Being alone by yourself and having something attack you is never easy, but at least come well equipped to the fight!
Be at peace.

The Fervent Prayers of Many

So, Yesterday I was in serious pain, after I sprained my ankle doing yard word. I had fallen over a tree stump in the yard and scraped my leg and ankle on the darn thing as I fell backwards onto my back and shoulder. Hard! My ankle instantly swelled to a huge nob! My neck was hurting and my thigh where I landed squarely on the tree stump. OUCH! I crawled along the grass into the house on my hands and knees and my son Jason helped me into a wheelchair he resurrected from the garage for me. My foot had swollen so large it literally felt as if it were going to explode. The bleeding areas were so swollen I actually wondered if the darn ankle was going to pop open? The pain was just so severe I could hardly believe a small sprain could present this much discomfort. I wondered if it might be more than a sprain? .
I immediately had Jason prepare the couch for me with pillows and blankets. We immediately elevated the leg. I was so grateful this hadn't happened to me while I was home alone! I can't imagine having to crawl from couch to freezer on my knees hurting this bad! Yikes, my prayers immediately went out to those who suffer something like this all alone! I felt so blessed to have Jason there with me. I was crying from the pain but not being alone was such a blessing!
I was crying as I tried to transfer from the wheelchair to the couch. Screaming actually.
Jason made an ice pack for me as I yelled where to find the zip lock bags and towel.
Putting the ice pack on this ankle was like torture to it.
I laid there trying to assess my situation.
I decided I was going to live! LOL. But it was going to be uncomfortable for a few days.

I had Jason prepare dinner with me yelling instructions from the couch. It was really hysterical actually. I found something funny about everything he did. Men in the kitchen! It's a trip.

Three hours passed with me on the couch and I needed to get up to head to the restroom. Jason got the old crutches from the garage and off I went screaming the entire way.
I thought to myself maybe I should head off to the Emergency Room?

I didn't want to go to the ER for an x-ray as I knew it would be painful somehow. Never the less
I had Kevin who was now home from work call my Humana plan to prepare me to go to the emergency room. It took me till about 9:00pm to submit to going for x-rays now as the pain was so severe I couldn't take it another second.  I thought I may have really fractured something.
Kevin made all the calls for me and I got my clearance from Humana and was preparing to go. But, then I became so sleepy,  It just came on me. It was like all the Advil I had taken just kicked in  all at once and I could not keep my eyes open.  I couldn't fathom getting up and heading to the ER.

Just then I tried to move off the couch just a tad, and a horrific charley horse hit this already distraught foot of mine. I must have awoken the neighbors I screamed so loud.
Both Kevin and Jason almost started crying they were so afraid for me in my pain. I know I was scaring them but I was in pain. They wanted to help me but clearly couldn't. The charley horse travelled up my leg as I was screaming so loud it sounded like I was being murdered. I really did try to stop screaming, but the pain in this swollen foot was just off the charts.
The swelling was now throbbing along with the charley horse!
Kevin grabbed my whole leg and the warmth of his hands started to ease the pain of my leg from the charley horse and ankle. He pushed the toes on my left foot back slowly, the heat from his hand and the light pressure on my toes caused  the charley horse to ease up a bit.  I could breath again! I finally stopped screaming. I was so worn out after this experience I  asked to be wheeled into bed to lay down for a few moments.
Off to bed I went, so we elevated my leg once again with pillows. It really felt good to lay down.  The throbbing finally stopped all together. I decided I could not go to the ER now,  I was worn out from all the screaming. I'd have to wait till the morning, I really needed to sleep right now!

As I was falling asleep my son Jason yelled into me from his room, "Mom, I'm praying for you", and I smiled and yelled back to him, "Thank you!" I need it! Then I fell asleep.
I woke up at 3:33am and I got up to go to the restroom. I was looking for the wheelchair and the crutches when I realized, my foot did not hurt at all!! It was completly fine! I walked in disbelief to the restroom by myself , no crutches, no wheel chair! I was  being careful not to wake anyone in the house. I was really amazed that I had no pain at all. I could feel that my ankle was still swollen but I could put all my weight on it! The foot was actually still very swollen, but I had NO PAIN!

I had posted this incident on Face book after it happened and so many people were praying for me. They had shared loving, kind thoughts and advise for me. I really appreciated it all. As I walked into the restroom  last night I realized the prayers of all the people had been heard! I was healed.
Jason's prayer had worked a miracle on me!
His words were the last words I heard as I fell off to sleep.
Miracles are still happening! We just have to believe. It took this silly accident to remind me of so many blessings I endure everyday. When we ask for prayer, we should expect a miracle.
I got mine last night!
I thank all those here for their part in their prayers for me.
I am blessed to have praying friends!

A Kiss From Above

So, it was 1977 and I was at a weekly home church meeting in Clearwater Florida with my family and some very dear friends.
My children, two boys, were very young. Three and five year olds.
They loved getting together with all their friends and were
in one of the other rooms in the large house with all the other children playing, coloring and watching videos.

We adults had been at the meeting for a couple of hours and had been singing and jamming on worship songs. It was a really wonderful fun filled time, as I so enjoyed singing and hanging out together with everybody.

As we all stood up to pray before the close of the meeting I remember that one of the pastors had said we would all give thanks for all that we had been blessed with in this life thus far.

I was immediately overwhelmed with a feeling of thanksgiving.
My life was beyond blessed I thought to myself. I had so much to be thankful for how does one begin to express this to such a great God I wondered?
I closed my eyes and prayed along with the rest of the gang and entered into a wonderful peaceful place spiritually.
There was an abundance of serenity. It was like floating. It really felt warm and wonderful. Safe and loving.
We all started singing very softly as it was evident that I was not the only person in the room feeling very connected with the Holy Spirit.
I felt as if I could just cry it was so peaceful. I whispered inwardly to the LORD how very grateful I was for HIS love and great care of me and my family.
Then something really bizarre and odd happened. I felt a touch on my face on my left cheek, almost like a kiss.
Yes, it was exactly like a kiss. Like a Daddy would give his little girl. It was amazing. It was so powerfully felt I started to cry and spoke right out loud in the meeting and said, "I felt a kiss on my face".
Everyone smiled, we all opened our eyes slowly. Others said they had felt a very similar experience at times when the spirit was overwhelming as it was tonight.
I was deeply moved. That had never happened before that nor since that time again.
How wonderful it is to experience  love like that from the Father.
I will always be grateful for the memory of that day.

The Morgue

So, It was 1976. I had been with a group of friends from church and we had been doing a musical Jam all morning with the band.
It was a very hot summer day and we had just finished our jam.
I was packing up to get ready to head for home. The church was about 3 miles from my house, I stood out on the street in front of the church next to my car saying my good bye's to everyone when another friend pulled up in a van. I didn't know him well, but I'd seen him at church before. He was a tall dark haired guy that was always hanging around and helping people. He got out and came over near where we were all standing and said that a young married couple from another church in town had just lost their child to a drowning accident in South St. Petersburg, in their back yard pool.
He was crying and had asked for prayer for the family.
The father of this young child was a very close friend of his and he was just shocked that this had happened.
I was so crushed to hear this news. I thought of all the sweet friends I had and how I loved their children! I could relate to what this guy was feeling. I was moved in my Spirit. Even though I didn't know the young couple, I could not help but feel their pain. I asked how old the baby was and my friend said about 2 1/2 years old. A little boy. Pain just gripped me in a way that actually surprised me. I felt so bad for these two young parents, and for this broken man standing in front of us. I had little boys. I was just speechless.
After we all prayed for comfort for this man and his friends, we all exchanged phone numbers with the man to call and pray with him and to stay in touch about the funeral that would be upcoming.  So we all got back in our cars. I said my goodbyes and headed home. The entire drive home I just keep thinking about the young family. What could I do to help ease their pain. I thought to myself, I'll pray for them all day. Maybe I can make them a meal or two? I'll seek GOD for answers for them, so they don't blame themselves and live in torture the rest of their lives.

I got home and shared the news with my husband and kids. We all prayed for the young couple. I looked at my beautiful young sons praying earnestly for this baby boy and this situation and my heart just broke. They were so precious.
After dinner that night I got the Bible out and read for about an hour. I read that GOD could raise from the dead, I had read this many times before but today those words came alive for me.
HE is the same GOD today that HE was then so what would the difference be if I believed HIM today for a miracle as they did back then? It was obvious to me that this was my answer!

I called my friend who had come in the van to the church and asked, where did they take the boy after he died? He mentioned that he had heard the coroner had taken him to Bayfront Medical Center in downtown St. Petersburg. I asked what the child's name was. He revealed it to me. (I won't mention it here to protect this young couple).
I shared with him that I was going to the Hospital morgue to raise the child from the dead! I was feeling led to go. My friend was stunned, he asked me how I was going to do this? I said I believe in miracles and I'm asking GOD for one now! I'm going to do it just like they did back in biblical days.
We prayed together again.
I hung up the phone.
I got in my car in pure faith and said to my husband, I'm going to follow the instruction in the Bible to a "T" and call upon the name of the LORD to save this baby boy and bring him back from the dead. Just as had been done in the Bible!
That really shocked him, but he said he believed that faith in action could do just about anything!  I agreed.
My husband prayed for me and said he would stay home with the children. So nothing would hinder me.
Off I went, alone, to Bayfont Medical Center. Full of Faith!
Towards the Morgue.

When I got there, I saw this massive large Hospital building, It looked bigger than it ever did before! I parked my car in the street parking. I went into the building with amazing faith, I had prayed all the way there.  I felt as if I were being guided. I did not feel like I was alone! I headed straight down stairs looking for the morgue.
I couldn't find it. I searched the entire floor for a sign leading to it. Then all of a sudden I saw a tall, thin older man, a janitor, moping the floor at the end of a long hall, he was humming some tune, I walked up to him and asked him where I might find the morgue.
He smiled at me and then looking straight into my eyes,
his eyes got real big and he said to me "Why is a pretty young girl like you looking for the morgue"? I explained my sad story to him briefly and said I felt as if the LORD would guide and instruct me once I found the little boy. He looked at me in utter amazement and replied again with a big smile on his face, "well now, who am I to get in the way of the LORDS plans"?
He said, you know I could get in a lot of trouble for this?
But I believe you're story, I do think the LORD has sent you.
With that he said "Follow me".
And so I did.
We went down in the elevator to another floor. Then as we were headed down the long shiny clean hall he turned and looked at me and said "Have you ever seen a dead body before"? I said "no".
He asked me if I had ever been in a morgue before? I said "no".
He said you are one brave little girl to come here all alone. I replied, I wasn't alone at all and I simply had no fear, I trust the LORD completely. HE is with me, of that I am sure or I would not be doing this!
I am a bit concerned as to what a dead sweet baby boy will look like however I mentioned.
He said, don't worry honey, he will just look as if he is sleeping, that's all.
Finally, after a long walk we came to the door. A huge stainless steel door with a brass sign, "M O R G U E".

The older man tuned to look at me and asked me again, "are you sure you want to go in there"? I said I was never more sure of anything in my life.
Do you want me to go in with you, he asked? I said, no, Thank you, I'll be fine. He said what are you going to do when you find the little boy? I said I'm going to pray and breath life back into him like they did in the bible! GOD will do the rest!
With that he nodded at me as if to say O.K., and told me not to stay to long as it was very cold in there. I said, O.K. I won't. Then he took a key from the ring of keys on his chain hanging by his pocket and he unlocked the door. He then opened the huge door for me and in I went. He looked at me again and said, "you sure  bout this honey"? I just smiled back at him he seemed to understand my smile, he then said, I'll just be out here in the hall then, waiting on you. I replied, O.K., and walked inside. The doors closed behind me. They made a loud bang as they closed. It was very cold.
Here I was, alone in the morgue. It was huge, It was all stainless steel and very clean. It had an odd smell, but not a bad one. Just real different, like you would expect death to smell like, I guess.
I looked around the huge room. It was well lit. There were steel beds protruding like shelves from the walls in the room. There were many bodies all draped in white linens. Maybe about 7 bodies. I walked from one side of the room to the next. But they were all adult bodies. There were no little bodies wrapped in the morgue. No infant sized bodies anywhere. I was so upset. I stood in the center of the room turning each way over and over again. I checked each bed. No little boy!
I cried out loud to the LORD and said,
"Here I am LORD, where is he"?
I stood in the middle of the morgue taking in all the sterile sights.
I waited for  an answer. I felt I heard GOD say to me,
"Teri, he is not here".
Then silence!
I just stood there.
Then I asked GOD again, where is he?
I felt the LORD tell me,
"he has already been taken to the funeral home Teri".
I ran out of the morgue, and I saw the janitor at the end of the hall. He stopped what he was doing and with wide eyes asked me, "what happened"? I said the boy isn't there!
He's already been taken to the funeral home.
The Janitor said well, I can't help you with that. So I thanked the janitor and I asked him where could I find out which funeral home  they had taken him too? He replied, they would know that at the upstairs desk for the morgue. I asked him where that would be, which floor?  He asked me not to mention that I had gone inside the morgue. I promised him I would not say a word about it, he then told me how to get to the desk upstairs.
I ran up the stairs from the Morgue and found the desk. I inquired at the desk about the arrangements for the little boy. The older lady at the desk said his body was taken that morning to a Funeral home in Tampa, Florida.
I asked which one? She finally told me, but, only after a long conversation I had had with her to convince her to please help me!

I drove towards home. I had no idea where the funeral home was in Tampa. I didn't know that city at all at the time. I knew I would get lost if I drove their alone. I had never been to Tampa alone before.
Doubts were creeping in.
If the child was taken there in the early morning, chances were the autopsy or preparation for the funeral would already have been preformed, I thought. I just cried out to GOD, why had I been so late? Why hadn't I gone to the morgue yesterday, or earlier in this morning? I started crying.
I was so upset. I so wanted to raise that child from the dead for that young family. My heart just broke.

I drove home and shared my whole experience with the my family.
I called the friend that had told me about the child's death and explained that I was unsuccessful in my attempts to raise the boy from the dead because he wasn't there!
He replied to me, through his tears and crying, you were not unsuccessful. You were very successful actually. He said, I could not have done what you just did. I don't think anyone of us could have. We were all praying for you and your amazing faith.
The LORD wanted that boy home for whatever reason, otherwise I believe you would have raised that child today!
This is why he wasn't there Teri. Had he been there, you would have had your miracle!

To this day I look back on that experience and wonder if that sweet boy would have been there would I have raised his body through faith from the dead. I do truly believe it would have happened.
I also believe that janitor was more than just a janitor, he was part of the divine appointment to allow me to exercise my faith that day.
I will always be blessed from this sad experience and someday I look forward to meeting that little boy face to face.

The Late Night Visitor

So, It was 2001, My Mother and her husband had moved up north in 1996.
She called me one night and told me her husband had just passed away. She lived eleven hours North of me in the Hills of Franklin N.C.
I jumped in my car and got there in a record breaking 8 1/2 hours. I only stopped for gas. No eating or anything else. And O.K. I drove a little faster than the speed limit. It was late by the time I arrived.
When I got there she was so relived to have someone there with her after all she had been through the past few days. She had listed her husbands death in the local news paper. She said somehow it made everything so surreal.

My Mother was simply exhausted and all she wanted to do was to sleep to put the pain and grief from the day behind her.
We talked for an hour or so and she couldn't stay awake any longer.
I decided I would also tuck myself in for the night, I was also extremely exhausted.

All of a sudden as I rose from the kitchen chair I had an awful premonition, just a dreadful feeling that something was very wrong.
I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was really bothering me.
My Mom never locked her doors living high on the mountain as she does but tonight I decided I would lock them all.
I went to the front door and locked it, but somehow I didn't feel safer. So I went downstairs on the first floor of her two story home and locked that door as well, and check all the windows. I still had a weird feeling I just could not shake. I felt like trouble was all around us. But why?
It really had me very aware of it. I just couldn't put my finger on where it was coming from. I didn't mention it to my Mom as she had enough on her plate to deal with. She didn't need me scaring her with a weird feeling I was having. I decided locking the doors was the right thing to do. After all we were alone in the pitch dark of the heavily wooded mountain.

My Mother never locked her doors at home, ever! She had said once that she knows everyone on the mountain and there all good country people.
I felt weird locking everything up tight.
I stayed up and cleaned a bit in the kitchen and then headed off to bed myself around 1:00 a.m.  Mom had taken a sleeping pill she had gotten that day from her doctor, So I got back up and I checked in on her and then headed back to bed.

It was about 3:00 A.M. in the morning, and I dreamt I was hearing a constant doorbell. I thought gee that sounds so real for a dream. Why doesn't someone answer the darn thing? Then I heard it again, and then again. Now I was awake and I did hear the doorbell. I was really groggy, and the door bell was really ringing, over and over!
I went to the front door, turned on the outside light and was shocked as I and looked out and saw a man standing there. He was a young man probably in his late 20's in a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He yelled in to me and said there was an emergency and he had to use our phone right away. I told him to wait a minute. He pleaded for me to open the door, I said just a minute, I had to gather my thoughts, There was no way I was believing that story for some reason, just a gut feeling again. So I went to wake my Mom to see if she knew this young man. It was hard to wake her from the effects of the sleeping pill. It took a minute or two. That's a long time when someone is at the front door banging on it.
She finally came to I explained what was going on, and she said, just let him in Teri, If it's an emergency then give him the phone.
I said, "no Mother", I'm not opening the door to this young guy, something isn't right. She yelled at me and said what are you talking about, it's an emergency, give him the phone! She was still very groggy, again I said "no". You need to get up and tell me if this is someone you actually know! I didn't understand why I was being so demanding, but it was coming from my gut. I was very leery of this man at the door. I have no idea why? By now it had been 5 minutes that my Mother and I were disputing giving this man the phone. Finally my Mom , tired and upset with me for acting so demanding got up, walked past me to the phone, picked it up from it's base and went towards the front door with it.
I jumped in front of her and took the phone out of her hand and said "wait"!  Please look out there, do you know that man?  She looked at him through the glass window and said , "no", he doesn't look familiar. I said I thought you knew everybody?
Then, giving me a very disapproving look, she went to open the door. I said "wait Mom", she hesitated and again said, "Teri", in an extremely frustrated with me voice.
I ran and got the shot gun from the kitchen near the back door, I remembered she always had it there, and then I stood behind her as she opened the front door. I made sure he could see the butt of the gun. I thought to myself, "what the heck am I doing"?  My heart is pounding out of my chest, I'm functioning on pure adrenalin here, My Mother is so trusting and friendly, I'm acting like a cruel idiot, but I can't seem to stop myself! I just trust my gut after all these years!
She handed him the phone and then said to him what emergency do you have? He said something about his girl friend up the mountain. I pushed my Mom aside almost knocking her over and closed the door and dead bolt locked it. My Mom yelled at me, she said "what are you doing"? Let the man make his call for heavens sake!
He picked up the phone as we both watched, but didn't dial anybody. He played with the buttons, but never got through to anybody. Then I heard him say to us "never mind" in a rude voice.
I thought, how clever, he has our only way to call for help.
So I shut the porch light off and yelled. Leave the phone at the bottom of the door when your done with it. He put the phone down and walked away from the door.
I then ran down stairs and made sure all the windows were locked again. I shut off all the lights. I could hear the man walking all around the house on the rock pavement from the driveway.
Ten minutes went by. I didn't hear him any more.
Then all of a sudden I heard him near the garage. I thought, what the heck is this guy doing?  I could just barely make out his white T-shirt in the darkness from all the surrounding trees.
I ran to the front door, looked around, quietly opened the door and grabbed the phone. I knew we were in trouble now. He never used the phone. I felt it was just a scam to get the phone away from us.
What was going on here?
My heart was still beating so fast, I ran from window to window trying to see what this guy was doing.
I asked my Mom if she had ever used the shot gun?
She started laughing and said, "what shot gun"?
I said the one I got from the kitchen!
She said that's not a shot gun, silly, that's a Beebe gun!
I was to terrified to laugh. I thought to myself, well. O.K. I know that, and she knows that, but hopefully, he doesn't know that!

I picked up the phone and persuaded My Mom to go with me into the bedroom walk in closet so we could call the police.  It was so quite I could hear the man walking around but I wondered if he could hear us as well. YES! It's that quite in the mountains!
I told her If I could hear the  mans footsteps so clearly, maybe he could hear us talking too?
I didn't want him to know the police were being called. I hoped they would catch him walking around the house.
It took the police 2 minutes to answer their phone!
 Two terrifying minutes!
The police officer on the line told us it would take them up to forty five minutes just to get to us.
I gave them the man's description as best I could and our address.
Then I went back and waited, listening and watching where this man might be. I could still hear him walking around outside. His every step gave him away.
It seemed like forever, but I could see the lights from the police car coming up the mountain from Highway 441.
Then I heard the man take off back up the road leading up the mountain.
I ran out to the police car as they pulled up and pointed which way he went.
They assured us they would patrol the area! They said not to worry but make sure everything was locked up!

The dreadful feeling I had had all night finally began to leave me.
I knew we were safe.
We both talked for a moment, and decided to just go back to bed.
My heart was still pounding. But I was exhausted as it was almost four a.m. in the morning.

I closed my eyes and began drifting slowly towards sleep. I could feel the adrenalin leaving me as I succumbed to sleep once again.

The next morning, as we both awoke, I should say late morning, somewhere around 11:30 a.m. my Mom put the news on.
They were reporting about the next couple mountains over from my Mom's. A woman and her two daughters had been beaten, raped and robbed.

I looked at my Mom and said that is exactly why I had such dreadful feelings all night last night. The report was exactly as ours. A man had come to the door claiming an emergency. Called  a pay phone and his friends showed to rob the house and work their plan.

I was so relieved we had recovered our phone and called the police.
I don't think the man at my door the night before felt as if he had control, so he never called for his friends that were waiting for his signal.  He gave up on us. Thank GOD!

Why do I share this story. TRUST your gut. At all cost. These people were targeting victims who had just lost a male loved one. They knew we might be alone. They knew we might have taken something to sleep better because of our grief, which gave them an advantage.
I share this to alert and educate you.
It was horrifying to live through, but the Spirit quickened me to be aware, and thank GOD I listened.
Perhaps it was my Mothers husband who alerted me to the impending doom awaiting us that night?
I'm just grateful I acted as I did.

The White Aura

It was 1987 and I was on a date in St. Petersburg, FL.
I had thought I had met a really special person who I might just have a lot in common with.  We would talk for hours and always  be on the same wave length. We got along really great!
I met Travis several months before I ever went out on a date with him. It just seemed to be one of those progressive friendships, where every day we would find ourselves talking more and more and then we seemed to always turn up where ever the other person would be, conveniently.
Travis finally got up the nerve to ask me out on a date. It was really funny. He was so sweet. Nervous, but sweet.
We went to see a movie together for our date night and then went to join friends at a local restaurant. It was odd going from such good friends to dating.
We stayed out pretty late and headed back to my house around 11:30. It had been a wonderful evening out and Travis came in for a cup of coffee before he headed back home, a 20 mile trek or so.
While we were sitting in the living room chatting over coffee
we were laughing and recounting the day and all the fun we had.
We discussed the movie and dinner and friends as well as what we would possibly do together tomorrow?
I was seated in a chair in the living room near the den and Travis was on a chair straight across from me. I was close to the front door. He was on a couch up against a wall.
We started talking about GOD and the trinity and how amazing the teachings are. I shared my belief and how I felt about GOD and we talked about this for a good hour. Time was just running away from us as it always did. It had to be 2:00 AM by now and Travis just kept sharing how he felt. We seemed to be again on the same wavelength.

All of a sudden while we were in the middle of conversation Travis jumped up and looked as if he had seen a ghost. He was pure white! He was horrified! This really scared me!  It had been such a lovely evening and conversation. He was mumbling something about "all over you" white, all over you, to me, and I was completely confused. He acted as if I had initiated some strange happening out of the blue.  I said to him, "where" all over what? He just kept staring and pointing and I didn't know what to do. His face made it clear he was very much afraid of what he was seeing "all over me", but I had no clue what he was talking about!
I looked down at my body and saw nothing.
I asked him again what he saw, his face changed from concern at that point to that of pure fear, all of a sudden he jumped up, he ran past me and outside into the front yard.

I was shocked! What the heck was happening? What did he see?
I ran out after him and he was heading for his motorcycle.
I asked him to wait a moment, he said "I've got to go, what the hell was that"? I said I have no idea! You tell me! Travis said he could see something rising up all over me. He was clearly shaking, It was white and it was huge, he said it was getting brighter, so he jumped up and ran! He put his helmet on and again said, goodbye and off he went. I stood there in the street alone, mind boggled.
I didn't know what to think really!

Well needless to say that was our last date. He was so frightened by what he saw he said later he was afraid it would happen again!
What he described is what I have been told by others they have seen. I however have never been able to control this aura. It seems to illuminate itself around me without me understanding how it's happening.  It happens randomly, but always while I'm passionate about what I'm speaking on. Some day I hope to have a better understanding on why it happens. I feel it when I'm singing in the worship band, I can actually feel the strong vibrations of it. To this day I  can truly say I cannot control it.
I'm not sure I'm ever suppose to.
It's O.K. with me that this happens.
I wonder if this happens to others and people can see it on them?
So far in my life I have not seen it on other people.....yet

Invitation to Eternal LIFE

I am often woken up at night by a male voice calling my name.
HE never has to call me more than once. I hear my name,
"Teri",
and I immediately wake up. HE has my full attention as HE does each and every time HE calls me.
I am always amazed that HE never calls me by my full name, or legal name or even a nick name. HE always speaks to me as a dear and loved friend. HE always speaks what only needs to be said.
HIS second word to me is always the same as well.
 "Come" ,
And then I am off, engulfed by HIS light to wherever HE leads me. Be it here on earth or a place HE has chosen for me to visit or just view.
All of my experiences with HIM are started this same way
every time.
HIS great light enters the room, I see the powerful light, It's warm, trusting and so inviting. It envelopes me and HE calls my name. I don't see HIS face, I only see the amazing light.
I feel HIS presence. It is that of pure love! It's undeniable.
It is wholly amazing!
NEVER do I question HIS authority over me. NEVER do I deny HIM my attention. HE is all consuming, All knowing and ALL Love. I do not ever consider questioning HIM.

I have always been safe with HIM, HE teaches me and takes me to places I can barley describe.
My experiences are HIS choosing for me. I never ask for anything. I never make requests. I just listen and obey.
In HIS immense presence there is no place for questions. I stand before HIM in awe of HIS Majesty!  HE is all consuming and  HE commands your every cell to HIS attention!
I submit willingly and wonderfully I bow to HIM!

Why am I sharing this you might ask? Because there is nothing special about me. You've seen my pictures. You have read my experiences. I'm just like you.
Perhaps if there is a difference, then the only difference could be this, I choose to believe that HE is exactly who HE says HE is! I choose to relish in the fact that HE loves me, and I HIM.
Who am I speaking of you ask?
I am speaking of GOD Himself!
He comes to me in the personage of the HOLY SPIRIT.
The comforter HE promised to send through JESUS..
He kept HIS promise.
My life has been enriched and blessed because of the decision I made to simply believe.
Believe in HIM.
I didn't ask HIM to choose me, but HE did. I am chosen to share this very word with you, and NOW more specifically.
At this time of year, May HIS love find you believing in who HE is. May your heart be set free, may you live forever in knowing HIS tender mercies for you.

HE is what the world needs desperately in 2015 and beyond. I pray you come to know HIM as I have.
He is willing to have this personal relationship with all of us as HE has with me. Will you then be perfect?, No. Will you change overnight?, yes and no. You will live forever with HIM when you believe and accept HIM. Yes, you really will. But your journey will be different from any other journey, because it will be ONLY yours.

Merry Christmas! Please except this gift!
HE will make your New Year ahead and all that follow Good  for YOU!
